Before you reset, know that life does not always go as planned. In order to fall in love with our lives, we must know the difference between making things happen in the world and believing that the world should be exactly how we want it. There is a thin line between things that we can control and the things we can’t control.

Travelling is therapeutic. This doesn’t mean you need to travel every weekend. But go out the front of your apartment and explore the world, often when you can. This helps you reconnect with the world and with yourself. Travelling reminds us that there is so much more to the world than your everyday routine.

Take a look at the people around you. Do they inspire you to be a bigger, brighter and more positive version of yourself? If not, maybe it is time to re-evaluate your friend group.

Maintain a healthy boundary. Know when to say ‘yes’ and ‘no.’ Saying no to someone or a situation may seem selfish, but it is an act of self-care. Without self-care, you will find it difficult to love your life.
