When Janhvi-Shikhar visited Tirupati together

To celebrate her mother Sridevi‘s 61st birthday on August 13 this year, Janhvi Kapoor and her boyfriend

visited the Tirupati temple seeking blessings. Janhvi stunned in a yellow saree with a teal blouse, while Shikhar wore ethnic attire for the purpose.

Janhvi also shared some sweet memories on her Instagram by posting a childhood picture with her mother Sridevi. In the picture, they can be seen sitting together and posing for the click. Another set of images shared by Janhvi gives out a glimpse of the staircase of the temple and another where she is dressed in a traditional lehenga. Captioning it: “Happy birthday Mumma I love you,” All this reflected her love and reverence to her late mother.

In a sweet tribute, Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of actor Boney Kapoor, posted an edited picture of her mother Sridevi. “Posing as if I was the lead in English Vinglish,” she captioned it:“Happy birthday, my jaan.”Sharing an adorable memory from their treasure trove, Khushi Kapoor-the youngest daughter of the actress-Sridevi took her turn and posted a picture which not only features Janhvi but also herself with her mother. In the picture, Khushi had dabbled to turn into a pixie cut, looking cute as well as Janhvi sporting a playful expression of remembering the time she had spent with Sridevi that goes very well to remind one about this beautiful moment.

Born in 1963, Sridevi’s acting career in cinema began when she was four years of age with the Tamil feature Kandhan Karunai and thereupon went on to become one of the most significant stars Indian cinema has ever produced.
She actually began her career as a heroine in Bollywood with Solva Saawan in 1979 but it was Himmatwala that catapulted her to stardom by the second half of 1983. She has acted in so many landmark films over the years: Chandni, Mr India, Nagina, Sadma, ChaalBaaz, Lamhe, Khuda Gawah, and Karma. Meanwhile, after quite a long due and after spreading prolific magic on the silver screen, legendary actress Sridevi was finally awarded Padma Shri for this exceptional contribution to Indian films though last film appearance Mom with its posthumous win by her of Best Actress trophy in National Film Award pays this iconic piece of acting talent her accolades. She married film producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. Janhvi was born in 1997, and Khushi in 2000.
Sridevi died on the night of February 24, 2018. She had gone to Dubai to attend her nephew’s marriage ceremony as he was getting married in a family gathering. She may have left this world too soon, but the fans of Sridevi will never forget Sridevi and the happy memories of those moments which her family shared with her.
