Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal: INR 700 crores

Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s only daughter, Isha Ambani married Anand Piramal on December 12, 2018. From wearing a custom-made lehenga worth INR 90 crores to sending out invites worth INR 3 lakhs each, Isha and Anand’s was one of the most expensive weddings worth INR 700 crores approx.

Sushanto Roy-Richa Ahuja and Seemanto Roy-Chantini Toor: INR 554 crores

The double wedding of business magnate the late Subrata Roy’s sons– Sushant Roy and Seemanto Roy– in 2004 is one of the most expensive Indian weddings to date. The grand wedding was attended by over 11,000 guests.

Brahmani Reddy and Rajiv Reddy: INR 500 crores

Mining magnate and former politician, Gali Janardhana Reddy’s daughter Brahmani Reddy married Rajiv Reddy in a grand wedding in 2016. Their wedding cost roughly INR 500 crores and it was attended by over 50,000 guests.

Shristi Mittal and Gulraj Behl: INR 500 crores

Steel tycoon Pramod Mittal’s daughter Shristi Mittal married Gulraj Behl, an investment banker, in 2013 in a lavish three-day wedding celebration in Spain. The entire wedding cost around INR 500 crore.

Vanisha Mittal and Amit Bhatia: INR 240 crores

Steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal’s daughter Vanisha married Amit Bhatia, a London banker, in 2004. Their six-day wedding celebrations took place in Paris, and the main wedding happened at 17th-century Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. The whole event costed over INR 240 crore.
