Abhinav Shukla and his family receive death threats from Asim Riaz's fan who claims to be a part of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang; threat read 'Salman Khan ke ghar pe...'

On Sunday, actor Abhinav Shukla received a chilling death threat on social media from a supposed fan of Bigg Boss 13 contestant and rapper Asim Riaz. The disturbing message came from a user claiming to be affiliated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang and included a violent threat eerily similar to the attack on Salman Khan’s residence in 2024.
Abhinav took to his X (formerly Twitter) account that afternoon to publicly share a screenshot of the threatening message. The sender, who identified himself as Ankush Gupta, had slid into the actor’s Instagram DMs with abusive and alarming content.
“Lawrence Bishnoi ka banda hoon. Tera address pata hai mere ko, aa jau kya? Salman Khan ek ghar pe goli maara tha, vaise tere bhi ghar aa kar goli maarunga AK-47 se (sic),” the message read—implying a clear threat of violence.
Abhinav’s decision to bring the threat to light has raised serious concerns about the increasing cases of online harassment and the need for stronger cyber safety measures, especially for public figures.
The threat Abhinav Shukla received wasn’t just disturbing, it was deeply personal and alarming. The same user who had earlier sent a violent message escalated things further by threatening to harm Abhinav’s family and even shoot his security personnel.

What made it even more unsettling was the claim that the sender knew Abhinav’s daily routine.
In the threatening message, the user wrote, “Last warning de raha hoon, Asim ko galat bolne ke pehle tera naam par aa jayega thik hai. Lawrence Bishnoi zindabad, Lawrence Bishnoi bhai Asim ke sath hai (sic).”
The chilling tone and the specificity of the threat have raised serious concerns. Abhinav’s openness in sharing this experience serves as a stark reminder of how dangerously real online threats can become—especially when they cross the line from trolling to targeted intimidation.
Abhinav then shared a video of the post showing the person’s profile and the threats sent to him. He even urged to Punjab Police to take action. He wrote, “DEATH THREATS to my family! @DGPPunjabPolice @PunjabPoliceInd @DgpChdPolice @ChdPol. Person seems to be from Chandigarh / Mohali. Please act firmly & promptly. To anyone who recognises the person plz report to @DGPPunjabPolice (sic).”
Abhinav Shukla later shared a series of hateful and abusive messages that both he and his wife, actress Rubina Dilaik, had been receiving from fans of Asim Riaz.

Some of these messages even included threats aimed at harming their family—an escalation that has left many shocked and disturbed.
For those who might be unaware, tensions between Rubina and Asim had been brewing on the fitness reality show Battleground, where both served as panelists. The two frequently clashed, mostly due to Asim’s aggressive behavior. Things hit a boiling point when Asim openly questioned Rubina’s presence on the show, leading to a heated altercation that quickly spiraled out of control.
In the midst of this, Abhinav was asked about Asim’s comments regarding Rubina during a social media interaction. Without mincing words, he replied, “All jacked up muscle, no brain and bad attitude is not a sign of fitness (sic).”

Following another intense confrontation—this time involving Rubina, Asim, and fellow contestant Abhishek Malhan—reports began surfacing that Asim had been removed from the show. While the producers have yet to release an official statement, Asim took to Twitter on Sunday to address the rumors. He denied being ousted and instead claimed, “I kicked the script away.”
