Veteran actor Dharmendra, who is known for his wit and charm, recently became the subject of a heartwarming and humorous anecdote shared by Gadar director Anil Sharma. The story, set during the making of Apne, showcased Dharmendra’s playful nature and how his sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, hilariously reacted to his teasing.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Anil Sharma recalled a moment from the vanity van where the legendary actor was seated with his sons. Dharmendra remarked, “Mere ladke bade seedhe hain (My sons are too innocent). Inka yaar, kuch heroines ke sath chakkar hi nahi chalta kabhi. Aur mere time ko dekho, sab heroines peeche aati rehti thi (They don’t have affairs with actresses. And look at me, all the heroines were after me).”
