Former child actor Sophie Nyweide has tragically died at the age of 24. Her family confirmed the heartbreaking news after her body was discovered near a makeshift shelter on a riverbank in Vermont. Sophie, who appeared in films like Noah and An Invisible Sign, began her acting career at just six years old. Her mother, Shelly, told TMZ that Sophie was never a typical “child star” and always felt safe on film sets. She believes her daughter may have been using drugs and possibly self-medicating before her death. Sophie was reportedly with unfamiliar people at the time. An autopsy is underway, with results expected in 6–8 weeks.
