BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: The

Bihar Public Service Commission

has officially announced the postponement of the recruitment process for Assistant Professors in Bihar Health Department on its official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
The BPSC in its

official notice

stated that the appointment to 1339 vacant posts of Assistant Professors have been

postponed

with immediate effect.

The official notice reads, “Departmental letter no. 34/2024 to 56/2024 published on 20.06.2024 for appointment to a total of 1339 vacant posts of Assistant Professor under 23 departments (specialties) in the medical colleges and hospitals of the state under the Health Department, Bihar. -649 (17), dated 22.07.2024, is postponed with immediate effect.”

The recruitment drive was being conducted by the Bihar Health Department, aiming to fill a total of 1339 Assistant Professor vacancies in 23 different specialties, across Medical Universities and Colleges in Bihar.
Eligibility to apply
For educational qualifications, applicants are required to hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline from any Indian University with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Foreign University. Additionally, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
