BTS' V faces scrutiny after contacting the former ADOR CEO during military training

V, or Kim Taehyung of BTS, is under investigation by the

Ministry of Defense

following a formal complaint concerning his recent communication with

Min Hee Jin

, the former CEO of

ADOR

. This arose from the revelation that V reached out to her during

military training

and raised some issues regarding violations of military regulations.
Allegedly a complaint was filed by an online community against V. According to the reports, V sent an SMS to Min Hee Jin, five days after his enlistment, and according to the military rules, V went against the code by contacting someone from the outside. The complainant made by the netizens reportedly requested that the case should be thoroughly investigated. It also drew attention to a previously noted case with another member of BTS, Suga, on drunk driving charges when doing public service duties.
However, it was found that the complainant was most likely a fan of the K-pop group LE SSERAFIM as they have been posting content about the group and discussing Min Hee Jin and HYBE since the controversy broke out.
The controversy continued to heat up when Min Hee Jin appeared on the YouTube talk show ‘School of Music’ and spoke about how V messaged her many times during the scandal in question, asking if she was doing well, even wishing her a birthday from his military training.

In a related development, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed the application of Min Hee Jin for the restoration of an injunction as CEO at ADOR. The group, HYBE, has come out to thank the court for its ruling by pointing out that it had resolved to normalize operations at ADOR and to work on supporting its artists.
