‘ released in theatres on Friday and it left everyone surprised as it gathered around Rs 9 crore on Day 1. This opening number was bigger than that of Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. The film was steady even on Saturday with a slight jump. But on Sunday, one saw a bigger business than the first two days.
It managed to get double digit numbers on Day 3, which is Sunday.
‘Crew’ earned Rs 10.25 crore on its third day and now the opening weekend total of the film is Rs 29.25 crore. This number is quite unprecedented considering that post pandemic, female driven films have not really worked at the box office. These numbers are encouraging for the industry!
Meanwhile, as far as the Worlwide gross is concerned, ‘Crew’ earned more than Rs 40 crore within two days. The coming days will further decide the film’s fate at the box office and Monday would be a major deciding factor for that. The Monday numbers will set the ball rolling for the coming days as it has got the time and space to dominate the box office as no other major releases are lined up till Eid.
