The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the answer key challenge window for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2024 today, March 14. NTA issued the
CSIR UGC NET December 2024
provisional answer key on March 11, 2025, allowing candidates to challenge it until March 14, 2025. For each challenge, candidates must pay Rs. 200. According to the official notice, the deadline for challenging the provisional answer key is 11:50 PM.
Once the challenge window closes, NTA will review the objections and release the final answer key. The CSIR UGC NET December 2024 result will be announced based on the final answer key.

CSIR UGC NET December 2024 answer key: Steps to raise objection
Candidates can follow these steps to challenge the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 provisional answer key:
Step 1: Visit the official website,
csirnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024: Click here to answer key challenge’.
Step 3: A new page will appear.
Step 4: Login to your account.
Step 5: Click on the ‘view answer sheet’.
Step 6: The question IDs will appear in subsequent order.
Step 7: The ID next to the question under the column ‘correct option(s)’ stands for the correct answer key to be used by NTA.
Step 8: If you wish to challenge, you may use one or more of the option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
Step 9: Upload the supporting documents and click on ‘submit and review’.
Step 10: Pay the required fee and click on submit.
