'Devara' Part 1 OTT release date: When and where to watch Jr.NTR's action drama

Jr. NTR starrer ‘

Devara

‘ was released in theatres last September, and the action drama received a thunderous opening at the box office. Directed by Kortala Siva, ‘Devara: Part 1’ received mixed reviews, and it failed to have a stronghold at the box office. However, ‘Devara’ is now coming to OTT. Netflix, which acquired the digital rights, has officially announced the movie’s streaming date. Jr. NTR’s film will begin streaming on November 8, and it will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. ‘Devara’ is likely to earn better attention after its OTT release, and fans are super excited to catch the film on their screens.
The OTT rights of ‘Devara’ were sold for an astounding price of Rs 155 crore. Produced with a budget of ₹300 crore, ‘Devara’ is said to have generated around Rs 400 crore in business from OTT, satellite, and theatrical rights combined. Released in theaters on September 27, Jr. NTR’s latest release grossed close to Rs 400 crores globally, and the film managed to be a profitable one despite mixed reviews.
Jr. NTR has seamlessly blended into the dual roles of Devara and Vara, and his portrayal of these distinct characters received appreciation from fans. Saif Ali Khan has embodied the character of Bhaira to lock horns with Jr. NTR, and the action sequences involving both were a treat for fans. Janhvi Kapoor made her Telugu debut to play the female lead, but she failed to make an impact as her character is limited to a few songs and scenes. The performances of Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Murali Sharma are decent, while Anirudh Ravichander’s background score and the song ‘Chuttamalle’ stand out.
