According to a news portal, which had a discussion with some industry insiders, Deepika is the highest paid at the moment. Bollywood Hungama stated in a report which was made by taking in account the opinions and insights of several insiders of the industry, Deepika is on the number 1 slot at the moment and she gets paid around Rs 15-20 crore per movie. The report stated that this position of the actress is due to her consistency of successful movies. She had ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ last year and this year, Deepika had the blockbuster ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.
Next on this list at the number 2 spot is Alia Bhatt who charges around Rs 15 crore per movie. Alia has also been constantly on the upward side, also with female centric movies and strong roles. The actress will be seen next in YRF’s spy universe which she is headlining. The film is titled ‘Alpha’. Kareena is on the third spot as she charges around Rs 8-11 crore. The actress’ last movie ‘Crew’ along with Tabu and Kriti Sanon did very well at the box office.
Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor were on the 4th and 5th position with around Rs 8 crores. Other actresses like Kangana Ranaut, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Taapsee Pannu charge in the range of Rs 5-8 crores.
Meanwhile, according to a list by Forbes about the highest paid male actors, Shah Rukh Khan topped the list with a whopping Rs 150-200 crores per movie!
