EAM Dr S Jaishankar asked Canada to share the evidence with India in connection with the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The minister did not rule out a probe. Jaishankar said, “ Canadian politics has given space to violent extreme political opinions. We have had attacks on the High commission. Smoke bomb thrown on the High Commission and Consulate General. Indian diplomats were intimidated in public, but no action was taken by the Canadian authorities against culprits. ‘Freedom of speech and freedom of expression comes with a certain responsibility. If you have a reason to make such an allegation please share the evidence.
