EC issues notice to Priyanka Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal over ‘disparaging’ remarks against PM Modi

The Election Commission issued a show-cause notice to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The poll body issued the show-casue notice for allegedly making “disparaging” and unverified remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The notice against the national convener of the AAP came after the BJP filed a complaint against him on November 10,2023. The posts were made on X from the official handle of the Aam Aadmi Party. The notice against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra came regarding a remark she made against PM Modi during a speech at Sanwer assembly constituency in MP.
