Emraan Hashmi
recently talked about how his career has changed over time. He mentioned that when he first started out, he was mostly interested in the perks, money, and fame that came with his job. Even though he did have some passion for acting, it wasn’t as strong as his desire for success and recognition.
“In the beginning of my career, for about the first 6-7 years, I was mostly attracted to the perks. It was all about the money and fame that kept me going. It’s not like I lacked passion, but I was only halfway passionate about what I was doing. Starting out fresh, gaining experience, that’s crucial when stepping into any industry. You make mistakes, have fun, and learn along the way over the years,” Emraan shared with Instant Bollywood.
As he grew in his career, Emraan noticed that the industry became tougher, expecting more from him as he became more successful.

like him are drawn to the attention and validation that come with success, even though it can also bring insecurities.
In conclusion, Emraan said that the fear of anonymity that plagues many actors. “As time went on, I noticed the world becoming less forgiving, especially with the success of my projects. I can’t deny the perks though. If anyone claims they’re not in it for the money or fame, they’re lying. We are suckers for the attention, insecurity is also something that comes out of it. Actors fear anonymity,” he said.
