NEW DELHI: The US Federal Bureau of Investigation has declared a
reward
of up to $250,000 for any information leading to the
capture
of
Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel
, a fugitive on FBI‘s ten most wanted list.
“The FBI offers a reward of up to $250,000 for info leading to the arrest of Ten Most Wanted Fugitive Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, wanted for allegedly killing his wife while they were working at a donut shop in Hanover, Maryland, on April 12, 2015,’ FBI’s announcement read.
Patel is accused of killing his wife while they both worked at a donut shop in Hanover, Maryland, on April 12, 2015. He has been on the FBI’s radar since 2017.

According to reports Patel, then 24, attacked his 21-year-old wife with a kitchen knife, inflicting multiple stab wounds in the shop’s backroom in the presence of customers.
Patel and Palak were working the night shift at the Dunkin’ Donuts store during that April night. CCTV footage captured during the incident showed the couple heading towards the kitchen area before disappearing behind the racks.
Patel faces charges including first-degree
murder
, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure. An arrest warrant was issued by the US District Court in Baltimore on April 20, 2015, after Patel was charged with fleeing to avoid prosecution.
