According to data from the Sacnilk website, ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ collected approximately Rs 6.00 crore on its fourth day alone, across all language releases in India.
With a staggering worldwide collection of Rs 1700.00 crores in just four days, the film has also made significant strides in overseas markets, grossing Rs 975.00 crore internationally.
The Indian box office figures reflect the film’s widespread popularity, with ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ earning a commendable Rs 54.00 crore in gross collections within the country. The film’s English and Hindi versions witnessed notable occupancy rates on Monday, April 1, 2024, with English screenings boasting an overall occupancy of 16.59% and Hindi screenings at 13.19%.
Audiences flocked to theaters throughout the day, with morning shows recording an English occupancy of 10.56% and a Hindi occupancy of 8.02%. The momentum continued into the afternoon and evening, with occupancy rates peaking at 21.66% for English and 16.07% for Hindi during night shows.
