During a conversation with Filmygyan, Harleen shared her excitement upon receiving a text from Ranveer Singh, who praised her for the portrayal of the character

in the OTT series ‘Kohrra’.

She said, “He (Ranveer) said he took my name and said, you know, what a fabulous job, Nimrat, you know, you’re an actor and a half or something like that. So when I read that, I was actually playing badminton. I was tired in the middle of the games, so I was reading like this, Ranveer Singh’s

came. I was just like, what do I do, how do I shout, I wanted to shout in the whole court. Because at that time, Rocky Rani was also released around that time. I was tripping on him because I was like, Rocky Randhawa, I mean, what a job he did, right? So I was tripping on him and he messaged me, Nimrat, oh, you’ve done such a great job. Oh my God. It’s beyond manifestation.”
Harleen was all praises for Ranveer and even wished to share a

with him one day. She stated, ”If I get a chance to work with him, I’ll really be so, so happy, Ranveer, if you’re listening to this. You’re just amazing. I really admire your craft. Rocky Rani. Wow. It was a lovely movie. Vo bahut achche actor hai. Mujhe unka kaam dekhke maza aata hai.”
Harleen, who dated Vicky Kaushal in early 2019 and eventually they parted ways, recently said that she doesn’t want to be called someone’s ex. Stating her decision to be unique, Harleen said, “I call myself a general and I don’t even recognize myself only as an actor. I am all of it: I am an actor, I am a sister, I am a friend, I am a confident woman, I am a fearless woman or I am a scared woman. It’s ‘I am’… that’s what I need.” She added, “My Instagram bio has two words, ‘I Am’…aage kuch nahin hai. I have a problem in general with identifying myself with anything.”
On the work front, Harleen was recently seen in Gulshan Devaiah and Anurag Kashyap’s starrer crime action-thriller series ‘Bad Cop’.
