,” brought together leading industry professionals and academics to discuss the role of technology in reshaping branding and business strategies.
Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, emphasised the importance of integrating technology with education. He stated, “IIM Sambalpur has been at the forefront of integrating AI into educational settings to drive transformative changes. Our focus is to align with industry standards through AI applications in education.” He noted that AI has already shown positive impacts on learning outcomes and aims to continue this integration in classrooms.
The roundtable featured 35 industry leaders, including executives from prominent companies such as Spencers, Shoppers Stop, BATA, Flipkart, and ITC. They explored how brands are adapting to technological advancements like AI, digitalisation, and the metaverse. The discussion covered topics like AI-driven customer insights, the

digital transformation

of supply chains, and enhancing customer loyalty through emerging technologies.
Abhilash Misra, CEO of NSE Academy, highlighted the significance of embracing technology to maintain competitiveness. Reflecting on the past, he shared, “Thirty years ago, the establishment of India’s first electronic trading platform revolutionised capital markets, and similar innovation is crucial today.” He also underscored the need for businesses to remain adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.

Nishit Bansal, Vice President at Tata Consumer Products, stressed that true business success is rooted in creating long-term societal value. He praised IIM Sambalpur’s focus on sustainability and diversity, noting that businesses must integrate core values with technological advancements to differentiate themselves in the market.
