Massive protests erupted on the Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) campus following an alleged molestation incident. A student claimed she was assaulted by three unidentified men while walking on campus at night. Around 2,000 students boycotted classes and staged a sit-in, demanding the arrest of the culprits, improved campus security, and the director’s resignation.
