expressed his admiration for the film, stating, “Film Laapataa Ladies, ek number bhidu…itna sensitive film, itna khoobsurat film, itni asli kahaani. Bhidu, main action film ka bahut bada fan hoon magar kabhi kabhi aisi achi khoobsurat film aati hai jisme action na ho magar uska kahani waah waah hai aur kya baat hai” (Laapataa Ladies is a fantastic film…so sensitive, so beautiful, such a real story. I’m a big fan of action films, but sometimes such beautiful films come without action, yet their story is just amazing).
Jackie further expressed his appreciation for the film’s storyline and urged viewers to watch it, stating it’s “worth a watch..maybe two.”

Set in 2001 in rural India, Laapataa Ladies is a story about two young brides who get separated during a train journey and what happens when Kishan, a police officer, takes it upon himself to probe the missing case.
