Jackky on Govinda’s reaction to BMCM trailer

In 1998, Govinda and

Amitabh Bachchan

collaborated on David Dhawan and Vashu Bhagnani’s ‘

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

‘. Despite facing stiff competition from Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, the film, reportedly produced on a budget of Rs 12 crore, exceeded expectations, grossing Rs 35.21 crore at the box office. It emerged as one of the year’s most significant commercial successes.

After nearly 26 years,

Jackky Bhagnani

, son of the producer Vasu Bhagnani, is bringing ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ back to the silver screen. However, this time, the film stars

Akshay Kumar

and Tiger Shroff in leading roles. Despite reports from the filmmakers that the two films are different, comparisons between them are unavoidable.
Recently, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Jackky revealed that Govinda watched the trailer and has given his approval. Bhagnani said that Amitabh Bachchan was busy but he got an opportunity to meet Govinda at his house a day before the trailer launch of the film and showed him the trailer. He saw it and said to him, ‘Your director is a very good man’.
Jackky further added that when he asked Govinda how he could predict the same, he told him that Ali hasn’t made a film but cinema with ‘Bade Miya Chote Miyan’. And his words gave him so much confidence. It made him so happy. All of them are working day and night so that people like what they made and praise them.
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ also features Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar in prominent roles. Scheduled for a theatrical release on April 10, the film promises an exciting ensemble cast.
