Kate Middleton compared to ‘sad Princess Diana’, here’s why

has stated that Kate is on a break to recover from her surgery, and will resume her duties after Easter. However, Kate’s long break has led to many rumours and

conspiracy theories

about her and things not being good between Kate and her husband Prince William.

Controversy about Kate Middleton’s edited picture
Recently, on the occasion of Mother’s Day the Kensington Palace posted a highly-edited picture of Kate Middleton with her three children– Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. However, people were quick to notice the discrepancies in the picture which made them question it on social media. Many news agencies also refused to post the picture, citing it to be morphed. This not only made the picture go viral, but also raised more questions about Kate Middleton’s whereabouts. Many also noticed Kate not wearing her wedding ring, which is very unlike her!
In order to take control of the situation, a statement was later issued by the Palace in Catherine’s name wherein she took all responsibility for the edited picture and apologised to people. “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C,” the official post read on social media.

However, this too back-fired for the

as people are now questioning not just about Kate Middleton’s health but also if things are fine in her marriage with Prince William.
When Kate Middleton appeared like ‘sad Princess Diana‘
Hours after the online apology was issued by Catherine, in one of the rare moments since the last few months– Kate was seen heading out with her husband Prince William, which could probably be one of the publicity activities to put an end to all ‘missing’ rumours about her.

Commenting about Kate looking visibly sad, a source told PageSix, “I worry about all this attention on Catherine. She did not look happy at all in the car on Monday (March 11).” The source also said that Kate, in fact, looked a lot like the late Princess Diana. The source even compared Kate to Princess Diana, when the latter appeared sad during when her marriage with her ex-husband, King Charles was not working out.

For the unversed, the late Princess Diana is Prince William’s mother and Kate Middleton’s late mother-in-law.
Meanwhile, the Kensington Palace hasn’t given out any other statement about Kate apart from her resuming her public duties post Easter.
