Addressing a Delhi press conference on November 18, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Meenakashi Lekhi, criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ruling Delhi, alleging a series of scams during their tenure. Lekhi claimed the AAP’s lax governance allowed rampant corruption, leading to continuous deception of the people. She specifically highlighted discrepancies in the Delhi Jal Board’s financial details, revealing a scam of Rs. 3,753 crores under various heads. Lekhi accused the AAP of a new scandal, asserting that crucial details of their work from 2017-18 to 2022-23 were inexplicably absent, concluding with a scathing remark, “Kejriwal ne kiya ek naya ghotala” (Kejriwal has committed a new scandal).
