At the ceremony, Brahmastra garnered accolades in several categories, including Best Film in Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC), as well as the Best
VFX
Film Award.
Speaking to the media, Johar expressed his gratitude for being part of the event, stating, “I’m truly honored and humbled to be here. I can’t take credit for the special VFX and all, as it’s Ayan Mukerji’s vision and effort. This project is his brainchild, and I’m simply here to support my team and stand by them with gratitude.”
Meanwhile, the awards were announced by a distinguished jury, with Rahul Rawail serving as the Chairperson of the Feature Film Jury, Nila Madhab Panda leading the Non-Feature Film Jury, and Gangadhar Mudalair overseeing the Best Writing on Cinema Jury.
‘Brahmastra’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, also featured prominent actors such as Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in key roles.
Reportedly, Mukerji has plans to begin work on ‘Brahmastra 2’ after completing his commitments to
War 2
, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
