Semi-Finals match was a grand affair indeed. It had many historic moments which will go down in history. While India qualified for the finals after its glorious win, Virat Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar‘s record of maximum ODI centuries. Many B-town celebs flocked to the Wankhede Stadium to watch the match live. Anushka Sharmawas there to cheer for husband Virat Kohli.
Meanwhile, one also saw Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Ranbir Kapoor,Madhuri Dixit with her husband Shriram Nene at the stadium.
The highlight was also superstar Rajinikanth’s presence. Madhuri dropped pictures with Rajinikanth, Anushka Sharma and congratulated team India. Dr Sriram Nene shared pictures from the match in a reel and expressed, “And there u have it. Congrats #TeamIndia. What a fabulous showing by our boys in Blue. Nice way to end #Shami. Sidharth wrote, “What a stellar performance #TeamIndia Such a treat to watch our champions excel on the field and win their way through the semis. Huge congratulations to @virat.kohli for setting yet another record, and @mdshammi.11 for his brilliant 7 wickets haul!!! Super excited for the finals! Can’t wait to get the cup home.”
Ajay Devgn also congratulated the team and said that he can’t wait for Sunday. The final match of World Cup 2023 will take place on Sunday in Ahmedabad.
