Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class 12th)
This year, 60.55% of regular boys and 68.43% of regular girl students successfully passed the Higher Secondary Examination. The merit list includes 24 candidates from the Arts (Humanities Faculty), 45 candidates from the Science (Mathematics) Faculty, 29 candidates from the Science (Biology) Faculty, 23 candidates from the Commerce Faculty, 8 candidates from the Agriculture Faculty, and 3 candidates from the Fine Arts + Home Science Faculty at the state level.
High School Certificate Examination (Class 10th)
For the High School Certificate Examination, 54.35% of regular boys and 61.88% of regular girl students passed the exams. The results indicate a notable performance from the regular girl students compared to their male counterparts.
Announcement of MP Board 10th and 12th Result 2024
Amid much anticipation, the MP Board 10th and 12th Result 2024 has been officially announced at the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (
MPBSE
) headquarters. The declaration took place during a press conference around 4:00 PM on April 24, 2024. These results mark the culmination of the High School and Intermediate board exams held in February and March of 2024 across Madhya Pradesh.
Schedule and Participation in MP Board Examinations 2024
The High School examinations spanned from February 5 to 28, followed by the Intermediate examinations from February 6 to March 5. This year, the exams saw an impressive participation of over 16 lakh students. Notably, all exams were conducted within a single shift, starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.
Passing Criteria for MPBSE Class 10 and 12 Examinations
To successfully clear the MPBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations, students must achieve a minimum score of 33% in both theory and practical exams across all subjects. This passing criterion applies not only to their overall aggregate score but also to each individual subject score.
Analysis: MP Board 12th Result 2023
In the year 2023, MPBSE documented a registration count of 7,29,426 students for the Class 12 board examinations. However, only 727,044 students ultimately appeared for the exams. Among them, a noteworthy total of 401,366 students successfully passed, marking a pass percentage of 55.28%. Interestingly, female students outshone their male counterparts with a higher pass percentage of 58.75%, while male students achieved a pass percentage of 52%.
Insights: MP Board 10th Result 2023
In the previous academic year, MPBSE reported a significant registration count of 8,20,014 students for the Class 10 board examinations. Among these registered students, a total of 815,364 appeared for the exams. Out of the candidates who took the examinations, 515,955 students, accounting for a pass percentage of 63.29%, successfully cleared the exams. Notably, female students exhibited a remarkable performance, surpassing their male counterparts with a pass percentage of 66.47%, whereas boys attained a pass percentage of 60.26%.
