Naga and Sobhita celebrate Akkineni heritage ‘Devadasu’

On the second day of the

International Film Festival of India

(IFFI) 2024 the soon-to-be-wed couple Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya walked the red carpet for a special screening of the classic film ‘Devadasu’. This film features the legendary, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, grandfather of Naga Chaitanya in one of his most celebrated roles named “Devdas”.
Sobhita and Chaitanya’s attendance pays tribute to the rich legacy of Akkineni Nageswara Rao as the deep-rooted cinematic heritage Naga Chaitanya proudly carries forward. In the photos, Naga Chaitanya is seen in a stunning navy blue matte finish suit, while Sobhita looked elegant in a light orange salwar suit. The images also featured Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and other family members, showcasing the close-knit support surrounding the couple.

and joining it is the Akkineni family with Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala in the spotlight.

Recently, the couple’s wedding invitation was leaked online. According to the wedding invitation, it has traditional South Indian aesthetics and includes details about their upcoming celebration. It features motifs such as temples and bells, emphasizing their cultural roots. Along with the invitation, guests received beautifully curated goodie baskets filled with food packets, flowers, and other treats.
They got engaged in August 2024 and the couple will be performing their wedding rituals on December 4, 2024, which will take place at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
