In an interview with Aaj Tak, the young actor said that people mostly associate him with his father alone and no one has ever mentioned his mom. According to him, even she was a wonderful actor in her era.
He added that people get focussed on his father. He also revealed that he shares a special relationship with his mom and according to him, she keeps the family together.
In the same interview, Namashi also spoke about how much of his mom’s work he has followed. He revealed that when he watches some of her films, she gets embarrassed and tells him to not watch her movies. According to him, Between the 70s and the 80s, she did more than 100 films and he likes ‘Ajnabee’ and ‘Beshaq’ the most amongst them. The actor also admitted that he can only watch her onscreen with his father. He added that he feels bad when she is with some other hero. While he has seen his father acting his entire life, it feels weird when he watches his mother on screen.
