During the chat, host
Kapil Sharma
, who became a father to daughter Anayra in 2019, connected with
Ranbir
Kapoor on the joys of fatherhood.
Kapil asked Ranbir if he relished being a father to a daughter, to which Ranbir expressed his sheer bliss, calling himself ‘blessed.’
He shared, “I don’t feel like doing anything. I don’t want to shoot, I don’t want to go anywhere. I want to sit at home and just look at her. I haven’t felt like this ever in my life. Now I understand how mom used to feel about me and Riddhima.”
Neetu Kapoor, while praising Ranbir as a hands-on father to his daughter

, remarked, “I have seen many fathers but I have seen none like him. He is the opposite of his father (
Rishi Kapoor
). My husband was never very good with children.”

She also credited her late husband Rishi Kapoor for instilling strong values in their children Ranbir and Riddhima, expressing her confidence that Raha would also inherit these values as Ranbir is Rishi Kapoor’s son. “Inko jo sanskar diye hai wo mere husband Rishi Kapoor ne diye. And I feel Raha me bhi wohi sanskar jayenge because ye (Ranbir) Rishi ji ka beta hai,” Neetu said.
Ranbir then shared insights into his daughter Raha’s bond with her mother,
Alia Bhatt
, mentioning that while Raha finds solace with her mother, she is always eager to play with him. He humorously added that although he has changed numerous diapers, he has also become Raha’s burp specialist.
