NEW DELHI: Senior advocate and former solicitor general of India
has tied the knot for the third time at a private ceremony in London, according to reports.
Salve exchanged vows with bride Trina in the presence of family members and close friends, including notable figures like Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and Lalit Modi.
Top businessmen, including Sunil Mittal, LN Mittal and Gopi Hinduja also attended the wedding reception, reports said.
The 68-year-old lawyer was previously married to Meenakshi, whom he divorced in 2020. He then married London-based artist Caroline Brossard.
A renowned lawyer, Salve has represented clients in numerous high-profile cases both in India and internationally.
He also served as the solicitor general of India from November 1999 to November 2002 during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led BJP government.
Recently, he represented India in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian national who was sentenced to death by Pakistan. Salve’s arguments led to a favorable verdict for India.
Last week, he was named by the Centre in the former President Ram Nath Kovind-led panel to determine the feasibility of conducting simultaneous Lok Sabha, state assembly and local/rural polls.
