Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: CM Gehlot condemns central govt’s politically motivated raids by ED

On November 6, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed confidence in his party’s prospects in the upcoming Assembly elections. Speaking to ANI, CM Gehlot stated that the people of Rajasthan are supportive of the Congress government, and he believes they will secure victory once again. He emphasized the government’s effective response during the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of various welfare schemes for the citizens. Gehlot also criticized the BJP-led Centre for what he perceived as a relentless pursuit of opposition leaders by central agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate. He argued that the government’s focus should extend beyond politicians to economic offenders like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya who fled the country.
