Russian warships enter Red Sea with ‘assigned mission’ amidst Houthi attacks

Russian warships entered the Red Sea amidst an ongoing battle between Houthis and the United States and UK. The warships have been dispatched by Russia with an assigned mission and to keep an anti-piracy watch. The Warships are loaded with Missile Cruiser Varyag and Frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov. In March, Houthis had struck a deal With China and Russia to secure safe passage, but a few days back, the rebels had targeted a Chinese oil tanker which had fumed the Chinese leadership.
