Saif Ali Khan remains unconscious following surgery?

Saif Ali Khan and his family are enduring a difficult and challenging time after the actor was violently attacked by an intruder inside their Mumbai home. The assailant stabbed Saif multiple times, and he was subsequently rushed to a hospital in Mumbai. Medical professionals immediately assumed responsibility for his treatment and carried out the necessary surgeries.

Despite several hours having passed, reports indicate that the actor remains unconscious.

According to India Today, Saif is still unconscious following the surgery, with doctors at the renowned Mumbai hospital maintaining close monitoring of his condition. At present, only his immediate family and close friends are allowed to visit him during this critical period.
According to Hindustan Times, Dr Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of the hospital, disclosed that Saif suffered six injuries — two minor, two intermediate, and two severe. One of the deeper injuries was located near his spine, specifically on his back. “Saif sustained a major injury to his thoracic spine caused by a knife. Surgery was performed to remove the knife and to address the leakage of spinal fluid,” explained the medical team. They also noted two significant injuries on his left hand and the right side of his neck, which were attended to by the plastic surgery team. Fortunately, Saif’s condition is now stable, and he is out of danger.

On January 16, Kareena Kapoor Khan issued a statement requesting privacy during this challenging time. In her message, she wrote: “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from relentless speculation and coverage.”
