Telangana Police to go to Supreme Court to challenge Allu Arjun's interim bail in the 'Pushpa 2' stampede tragedy case: Report

Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday, December 13, in the

stampede tragedy case

which led to the death of a 39-year old woman. During the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2’ on December 4, a

stampede

took place at the Sandhya theatre which led to this incident. The woman’s 8-year old son got injured and his battling his life in the hospital. While Allu was arrested on Friday, he was released on interim bail on Saturday morning.
But a latest report suggests that the police officials are set to challenge the High Court’s order of bail and go to the Supreme court. According to News18, Allu Arjun can be trouble again as the

officials are set to go to Supreme Court. The officials also did not release him on Friday night itself despite the order. Hence, the actor’s lawyer was agitated. He had told the media, “You should question the government and the department why they did not release the accused. The

is very specific. Forthwith, the moment you (prison authorities) receive the order, (they should) release him. Despite the clear order, they did not release him, they have to answer. It’s an illegal detention. We will take

After coming out of Jail, Allu Arjun expressed sadness, calling the woman’s death very unfortunate. In a statement, the Telugu superstar said, “I thank everyone, this incident was very unfortunate, we are extremely sorry whatever happened, we are with the family, this never happened with anyone, I am there to support the family in every way, I am thankful to everyone.” He also clarified that he had no direct connection in this death and it was just an accident.
