1. The common teacher of both Kauravas and Pandavas was Guru Dronacharya. 2. The Kaurava who did not fight against Pandavas, but rather with them, was Yuyutsu. Yuyutsu believed that he should side with Dharma. 3. Karna, the son of Surya, was born with precious stones (Kavach-Kundal) on his body, but was abandoned by his mother as he was born out of wedlock. 4. It was because of Shakuni and his faulty dice that the Pandavas lost the game and had to go into exile. 5. The Mahabharata war went on for 18 days. 6. The curse of immortality was given to Ashwatthama by Shri Krishna because he tried to kill the unborn baby of Uttara. 7.
