The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) 2024 counselling schedule. According to the schedule, the registration process will begin on August 8, 2024, and close on August 20, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website, edcet.tsche.ac.in, for registration once the link is active.

TS EDCET 2024 Counselling: Steps to register
Candidates can follow these steps to register for TS EDCET 2024 counselling:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., edcetadm.tsche.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, candidates need to click on the registration link for the counselling process, once the link is active.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 5: Pay the registration fee and click on submit.
Step 6:Take a printout of your application for future reference.
TS EDCET 2024 Counselling: Registration fee
As per the official notice, candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 800, and Rs 500 in case the candidates belong to SC/ST category.
TS EDCET 2024 Counselling: Eligibility criteria
As per the official notice, the following is the eligibility criteria:
1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. The candidate should belong to Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
3. . Candidates should have secured 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e., BA / BSc / BCom / BSc (Home Science) / BCA / BBM / B.A.(Oriental Language) / BBA or in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
4. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
6. However, the candidates belonging to reserved categories viz., SC/ST/BC and other reserved categories should have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
