UGC NET result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the June 2024 session. A total of 11 lakh candidates registered for the exam, of which 6.84 lakh appeared.
Among those who appeared, a significant number have qualified for various academic positions. 4970 candidates have qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (

), 53,694 for

To download your UGC NET e-certificate, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the NTA website: Go to the official NTA website at ecertificate.nta.ac.in.

3. Enter your credentials: Fill in the required details such as your roll number or application number, date of birth, exam year, exam session, and security key.
4. Submit and download: Click on “Submit” and your UGC NET e-certificate will be displayed on the screen. Download and save it for future reference.

Understanding the Validity of Your UGC NET E-Certificate
The validity of your UGC NET e-certificate depends on the position you have qualified for:
• Assistant Professor and Lectureship: The UGC NET certificate is valid for a lifetime. This means you can use it to apply for Assistant Professor or Lectureship positions in Indian universities and colleges indefinitely.
• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): The JRF qualification is valid for a period of four years from the date of issue of the UGC NET certificate. This allows you to pursue research on your chosen topic for up to four years.

Obtaining a Duplicate UGC NET E-Certificate
If you have lost your original UGC NET certificate, you can apply for a duplicate. To do so, you will need to submit the following documents:
1. Printout of the application form
2. UGC NET roll number
3. Self-attested copy of the First Information Report (FIR) concerning the loss
4. Demand draft of Rs 100 drawn in favour of “Secretary, Committee on University Grants”
5. Contact details (mobile number and email ID)
