and X Fold 3 Pro. The smartphone has not yet announced the official launch date but it is said to launch later this month. The Pro version of the foldable smartphone is rumoured to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and the Fold X3 is said to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
A recent Weibo post suggests that Vivo may launch the

and X Fold 3 foldable smartphones on March 26, 27 or 28.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: What to expect
According to the report, the upcoming foldable phone is anticipated to feature an LTPO internal screen capable of supporting a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is expected to integrate Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset.

The company is also speculated to reduce the thickness and weight of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro compared to its predecessor, the X Fold 2. The forthcoming foldable device is projected to weigh under 250 grams, whereas the Vivo X Fold 2 model weighed around 279 grams.
Both the outer and inner displays are expected to incorporate an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, a feature for which Vivo is renowned among smartphone brands.

Although the report did not disclose the battery size of the upcoming device, it did suggest that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro may offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

The company could potentially relocate the flash to the right side and integrate ZEISS branding into the camera island. Additionally, there’s speculation that the Vivo X Fold 3 could be thinner than its predecessor and potentially become the lightest foldable phone in the industry.
The source also hinted at the possibility of the X Fold 3 being powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a notable upgrade from last year’s Vivo X Fold 2, which featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The upcoming book-style foldable might retain the 50MP rear camera from its predecessor. However, rumors suggest that the smartphone could also incorporate a new 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera.
Moreover, the Vivo X Fold 3 is anticipated to utilize the proprietary V3 custom imaging chip and potentially support 4K 60fps video recording.
