In the video, Bairstow, celebrating his 100th Test appearance, was seen engaging in banter with Gill amidst the heated moments of the match.

Bairstow: “What did you say to Jimmy about retiring… then he got you out next ball.”
To which, Gill was heard replying: “So what? … he can get me out after my 100.”


The exchange reflects the competitive spirit and tension on the field as both teams battled it out in the series finale.

In the match, India secured a commanding 259-run first innings lead before Ashwin’s masterful bowling dismantled England’s top-order, leaving them reeling at 103 for five in their second innings at lunch on day three.
