In a significant blow to Hamas, the Israeli Air Force successfully eliminated the head of the militant group’s anti-tank system on November 1. The commander, identified as Muhammad Atzar, was targeted under the directives of the Israeli security agency Shin Bet. Atzar held responsibility for overseeing all anti-tank systems across various brigades in the Gaza Strip, managing their regular operations, and facilitating their deployment in emergency situations. Israeli forces continued their targeted strikes on multiple Hamas targets, resulting in the elimination of top terrorist outfit commanders. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) initiated a large-scale ground incursion into the Gaza Strip with the objective of neutralizing Hamas militants. Israeli tanks have been actively engaged within Gaza for a minimum of four days following a Hamas attack on October 7. Tragically, Gaza health authorities reported a death toll of at least 8,525 people in Israeli attacks since October 7.
