Celebrating 100 years of the greatest showman of Bollywood
A legend, an icon, Raj Kapoor was known as the ‘Greatest showman of Indian cinema’. An actor, filmmaker, and producer, his films and songs continue to shape and inspire Indian cinema. The country is celebrating 100 years of the man who mirrored the country’s mood with his apt personality and acting skills during India’s post-independence era. On this occasion, the OG Kapoor family of Bollywood came together and hosted a tribute event to late Raj Kapoor, and all the members exuded major fashion goals. Let’s look at who wore what at this event hosted in Mumbai last night.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor arrived hand-in-hand at the event capturing attention with their sartorial choices. Ranbir Kapoor wore a black velvet bandhgala blazer-kurta and teamed it with white pajamas. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt wore an off-white Sabyasachi sari with floral designs all over the main bodice and simply accessorised a subtle golden necklace with it.

Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena Kapoor Khan exuded royal vintage glam in a traditional kurta-pajama set by Iqbal Hussain featuring an ivory show with rust piping and tassels on the sides of her neckline. She wore a matching ivory tissue inner shirt with gota work on the sleeves which looked chic and gave a perfect subtle royal hint.

Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor
The mother-daughter duo brought forth their traditional A game and looked glamorous. Neetu Kapoor wore an oversized grey-hued kurta set from Misha Lakhani’s creation featuring subtle floral embroidery with a golden touch. On the other hand, Riddhima Kapoor wore a beige and golden embroidered kurta set with a matching dupatta and simply added a pair of subtle earrings and a matching golden clutch.

The evergreen heroine of Bollywood Rekha carried her staple glam traditional avatar. The diva was spotted in a stunning golden Sabyasachi silk sari with a dark tone of golden glam along the border and teamed with a half-sleeved blouse. The father-daughter duo were seen raising the style quotient, where Karisma was spotted in a delicate ivory sari with pearl beading over the main bodice and pallu.
