Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath issued a stern warning to those harassing women in the state, saying that “Yamraj”, the deity of death, will be waiting for them.Adityanath’s remarks come after a girl student was killed when two bike-borne men pulled her dupatta during a molestation bid due to which her cycle lost balance and got run over by another motorcyclist in Ambedkarnagar.

Adityanath’s remarks come after a girl student was killed when two bike-borne men pulled her dupatta during a molestation bid due to which her cycle lost balance and got run over by another motorcyclist in Ambedkarnagar.
The three accused involved in the incident have been arrested.Police claimed two of the accused sustained bullet injuries while one suffered a leg fracture while trying to escape from custody on Sunday.
The UP chief minister’s government has been known for its crack down on crime since coming to power in 2017.
The ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh has often touted the Adityanath government’s handling of law and order in the state as one of its achievements.
Yogi highlighted the importance of a strong legal system for safeguarding law and order and stressed that no one will be allowed to misuse the law to disrupt the system.
