Korean Speech Contest Winners Shine at Indo-Korean Center’s Pune Event

PUNE: A Career Development Center (CDC) was inaugurated by Dooshik Kim, Deputy Consul to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai at a global event. During the event, the Indo-Korean Center organized a Korean Speech contest at King Sejong Institute (KSI) in Pune. Chirag Jaladi, Tanu Mishra, and Savani Rajpathak secured first, second, and third place respectively in the contest.
A statement issued by King Sejong Institute stated, “Chirag Jaladi, Tanu Mishra and Savani Rajpathak secured first, second and third places respectively in the contest.

Tanvi Joshi and Neha Kulkarni won the consolation prizes. All winners were awarded certificates, trophies, and goodies. A branded television set was handed over to the contestants securing first and second places while a microwave was given to the third ranker. Additionally, two consolation prizes of branded wireless earbuds were handed over to consolation prize winners.”
Twelve talented students trained in the Korean language were selected after a rigorous screening process. Jeongkeul Jeong, CFO at LG Electronics, Eunhee An, Principal of Korean Language School in Pune, and Jaibong Lee, Manager at Woori Bank were esteemed judges for the contest.
Eunjoo Lim, Director of KSI Pune, Sanjib Ghatak, Co-founder of IKC, Aditya Bavadekar, Director of MIMA Institute of Management, Chirnjeev Maini, HoD of Education and Training at POSCO Maharashtra Steel, Prashant Shekhar, HR Head, LG Electronics, Park Wol Sang, General Manager of Ohsung India and many distinguished guests representing renowned Korean companies and universities were present at this occasion at the Indo Korean Centre, Balewadi, Pune. Indo-Korean fusion dance and traditional Korean singing by the student club members of IKC KSI Pune gave a mesmerizing performance at the event.

the statement added that this event was a gesture of advancement towards enriching the bonds between the versatile culture of India. Indo-Korean Center (IKC) located at the Youth Build Foundation works to provide a platform to facilitate opportunities for the general public and to connect Indian & Korean people, mentioned Eunjoo Lim.
Lim further said in the statement, “There are a lot of opportunities for Korean learners in Korean companies in India and South Korea. Korean universities are also welcoming Indian students for their higher studies in Korea. This CDC will be helpful to Indian students to grab these opportunities and make a career in their respective fields.”
Dooshik Kim informed about the opportunities for employment and education in South Korea. Chiranjeev Maini & Prashant Shekhar were briefed about the POSCO and LG electronics and their requirements from the candidates. Sanjib Ghatak coordinated the event.
